How to book
You can either fill in the enquiry form and we will reply by email, or you can phone us on 01667 455855. Please note that we require a debit or credit card number to hold the room(s), and it is the guest's responsibility to contact us with this information, within 3 days of the initial contact. We accept most major cards; however there is a 5% surcharge on credit cards used for payment. No payment will be taken at this time, but will be required upon arrival. Please also be prepared to provide us with a mobile phone number.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that your plans may change, so should you require to cancel your booking we would ask that you do so as soon as possible. Bookings cancelled prior to 48 hours before your arrival will not be charged. However bookings cancelled after this will be charged one night's full price, as will no shows.
Check in
As we are a guest house, we do not have a 24 hour reception. Our check in time is between 4pm and 7pm. Should you wish to arrive outwith these times, please mention this at the time of booking - a surcharge will apply for early check-ins.
Late arrival after the arranged check-in time could result in no entry and full charge being made for that night's accomodation. By making a booking you agree to these terms and conditions.
If you are coming to stay as a wedding guest, it is especially important to tell us if you require early entry to your room. We cannot guarantee that rooms will be ready before 4pm, unless by prior arrangement.
Check out
Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10am on the morning of departure.
Breakfast
Please note that breakfast is served between 8am and 8.45am, Monday to Friday, and 8.30am to 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday. If you will require breakfast earlier, this will be by arrangement only, at the owner's discretion, and may attract a small charge.
Smoking
When staying at Cawdor House, you are welcomed as a guest in our house, and asked to respect our house and its contents. We are completely non smoking throughout the house. Any guest found to be smoking will be asked to leave, regardless of time of day, and will be charged the full price of their stay. There will be a cleaning charge of £100 added to the bill. The same will apply to anyone causing disruption to the rest of the house.
Children
Children are most welcome at Cawdor House, but we prefer that children under 14years are in a room with their parents/carers.
